The event will take place on 1 October 2026 in Brussels and will bring together stakeholders from across Europe’s innovation ecosystems to discuss the results, impact and future of the I3 Instrument.
The Forum will focus on how interregional collaboration contributes to the development of European value chains, the scaling-up of innovation and the strengthening of regional innovation ecosystems. Participants will have the opportunity to discover concrete examples and project results supported under the I3 Instrument, exchange experiences with peers and engage in discussions on the future of interregional innovation investment in Europe.
The programme will feature representatives from European institutions, regional authorities, innovation agencies, clusters, SMEs, research organisations and I3 Instrument project consortia.
In addition to the main Forum, a dedicated Coordinators’ Day will take place on 30 September 2026. This side event is reserved exclusively for coordinators of I3 Instrument projects and will provide a space for exchange on project implementation, synergies and lessons learned.
To ensure a balanced representation across regions and stakeholder groups, registrations will be reviewed individually by the organisers.
