In the context of post-pandemic recovery, supply chain challenges, geopolitical uncertainties, and the rapid transitions towards green and digital solutions, the report emphasizes how the Network has helped businesses to enhance their resilience, secure funding, and venture into new markets.
Key achievements: driving growth and innovation
The report reveals exceptional success rates for SMEs receiving Network support:
- 90% of companies seeking help with innovation introduced new or significantly improved products, services, or processes
- 78% of businesses supported in accessing funding secured financial backing, primarily via Horizon Europe, ERDF regional funds, and private investment programmes
- 84% of SMEs assisted with internationalisation successfully launched products or services in new markets, with 79% targeting other EU countries-demonstrating the Network’s strength in maximising Single Market opportunities
- 88% of companies guided on digital transformation adopted new solutions, such as e-commerce, advanced online presence, and digital process management
- 91% of businesses supported in sustainability took concrete steps to reduce their environmental impact, including energy efficiency, emissions/waste reduction, and renewable energy adoption
