The Centre’s objective is to help European manufacturing SMEs to assess the possibility of adopting both advanced manufacturing solutions as well as social innovation strategies thereby transforming their organisation towards next-generation factories with more competitive, modern and sustainable production.
After establishing an online scan tool measuring the maturity of SMEs on seven transformation areas, 110 SMEs have been approached (employing a total of close to 10.000 people). Of those companies, 69 companies in 12 different European countries have received active support through a fully customized ADMA Transformation Plan highlighting the priority areas for each of them.
