Description
The Women Tech EU project's main goal is to empower women founders and entrepreneurs who lead deep tech start-ups in Europe, helping them become tomorrow’s tech leaders and to put women at the forefront of deep tech.
The next open call runs from 1 August 2024 until 1 October 2024 and will select and support 40 women-led deep tech early-stage startups that will contribute to the green, digital and social transition in line with the European objectives.
The call is now open to women entrepreneurs from the European Union and Horizon Europe associated countries who meet the eligibility criteria specified in the call documents. Participants will have the opportunity to receive a EUR 75 000 grant (non-dilutive finance) and access a customised business development programme. This initiative aims to support and elevate these innovators as leading figures in deep tech innovation across Europe.
Beyond the funding, the programme of services that will be offered will include:
- Service 1 Female mentors (one meeting per month during 6 months)
- Service 2 Investor outreach and pitch preparation
- Service 3 Investor and Export Readiness Check
- Service 4 Soft Skills Training
- Service 5 Sales Strategy & Execution
- Service 6 Environmental Impact Assessment:
- Service 7 Corporate Access
Upon submission, the applicant will choose their top three services that they would like to get from the Women TechEU project. During the execution of the Programme of Services selected services from the EIC Business Accelerator Service will also be available.
To ensure a smooth and continuous scaleup of their businesses, constant contacts and checkups of the KPIs, jointly developed by the entrepreneurs and their coaches, will be maintained. This process will help prepare the winners to eventually also apply for the EIC Accelerator scheme.
