The call for proposals for ‘Action Grants for promoting stable debt advice services’ was launched last 22 June 2021 under the Consumers strand of the Single Market Programme – which, as of 1 April 2021, is largely implemented by the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA).
The objective of this call is to facilitate the consumers' access to debt-advice services on a stable base in a number of Member States where the availability and the quality of debt-advice services is currently insufficient, inadequate or completely lacking. At the moment, according to the results of various information sources, this is the case in 13 EU Member States (ES-IT-MT-GR-CY-RO-HU-BG-HR-SI-SK-LT-LV).
The total available budget for the call is EUR 780 000.
To support potential applicants understanding the call objectives and expectations and to reply to their questions, EISMEA organised an online info session last 2 July 2021. The questions received and answered during the info session have been published as FAQs on the EU Funding & tender opportunities portal. The objective of these FAQs is to provide additional support to the potential applicants to prepare high-quality proposals adhering to the call’s objectives and thus increase their chances being successful for funding.
Eligible applicants have until 1 September 2021 to apply for this call.
Non-IT related questions may be sent by 25 August 2021, 17:00 CET to the EISMEA Consumers team via email to: EISMEA-CONS-grantsec [dot] europa [dot] eu (EISMEA-CONS-grants[at]ec[dot]europa[dot]eu).
For more info on the call and the link to the Funding and tender opportunities portal (where the FAQs have been published), you can consult the call page in EISMEA website.
