MINE.THE.GAP: second call for financial support to SMEs is open

Project MINE.THE.GAP receives funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme. It is implemented as an innovation action under call INNOSUP-01-2019 'Cluster facilitated projects for new industrial value chains'.

The overall aim of project MINE.THE.GAP is to provide a support platform for the reinforcement of existing value chains and the development of new industrial value chains in the raw materials and mining target sectors by means of cross-sectoral and cross-regional innovation and support services in cluster-related SMEs through synergies and interactions with providers and facilitators from the existing and emerging fields of ICT, circular economy, resource efficiency and advanced manufacturing.

The MINE.THE.GAP team is pleased to invite SMEs to submit project proposals in response to the  MINE.THE.GAP second open call, which has opened on 10 January. MINE.THE.GAP will support SMEs with two types of innovation vouchers to address the current challenges of the raw materials and mining value chain and to help the sector to become more sustainable and digital. Therefore, the call asks SMEs from eligible countries to team up with cooperation partners to develop innovative solutions.

The call is open until 14 March 2022, 17.00 Brussels time. The call documents are available on the website. SMEs are invited to read the call text carefully and to submit as early as possible before the deadline to avoid any problems with the submission.

MINE.THE.GAP will fund collaborative activities between two or three for-profit and/or public SMEs that work in the raw materials and mining sector, ICT, Advanced Manufacturing, Resource Efficiency and Circular Economy. They need to come from at least two of the MINE.THE.GAP consortium countries or from a country of the Mining Industry Smart Specialisation Platform, which are Bulgaria, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Poland, Portugal, Spain, or Sweden. Each interested SME can apply with one or several projects in one or more calls in accordance with its needs and can manifest their interest in the collaboration platform offered by MINE.THE.GAP.

You can create a profile and start networking.
