The Single Market Programme call for tenders ‘Study on measuring product non-compliance’ is now open for submissions

A new call for tenders under the Market Surveillance programme was published on 21 July 2021, with deadline for submission of offers on 31 August 2021. It foresees a maximum budget of € 320.000 for a contract of maximum 12-month duration.

The European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) has launched a new call for tenders entitled "Study on Measuring Product Non-compliance for Selected Sectors Covered by Regulation 2019/1020 in the EU Member States" under the Market Surveillance programme - which is part of the Single Market Programme and, as of 1 April 2021, is managed by EISMEA.

Call objectives

This call concerns the methodology developed and proposed by the European Commission - in particular, by the Directorate General Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW) and by the Joint Research Centre (JRC) - for measuring and monitoring trends in non-compliance.

In particular, the objective of this call for tenders is to develop a study to test the application of such methodology and to provide recommendations on its further adaption based on lessons learned from the targeted data collection across selected sectors and Member States.

Planned maximum budget for the contract: € 320.000

Opening date: 21 July 2021

Deadline for applications: 31 August 2021
